Introduction

Government Post Graduate College Raipur has been established since the year 2014, Economics subject is accepted at graduate level, in which 120 seats are approved in each class, after completion of admission on all 120 seats, the classes are conducted on the basis of teaching plan, 100% in each session. -PercentThe syllabus is completed, the examination result of the department is 95% on an average, for the conduct of extra-curricular co-curricular activities, the departmental council is formed in every session, under the departmental council, essay competition, speech competition, debate competition, poster competition on contemporary topics. Competition,Many competitions like Rangoli etc. are organized. Certificates and prizes are also given to the winning students. Knowledge enhancement of students in Economics subject, career counseling for knowledge enhancement and educational upgradation of students, online teaching and text material to students through WhatsApp groupProviding and providing guidelines etc. activities also go on continuously. Professor Daksha Joshi, in-charge of the department, participated in various international, national seminars, workshops, conferences. He was the main speaker and participant in the online national webinar. Dr. Daksha in the subject of economics Under Joshi direction, 2 research scholars have obtained PhD degree in this college. One student has succeeded in UGC NET and examination. Continuous efforts are made for the interest of the students towards the subject, knowledge of the subject and their all-round development.
